Hi I'm Alicia, owner and chief creative at Funk Soul Baby. Funk Soul Baby is a long held dream come true. In 2020, working from home, my youngest in virtual school and social distancing, my creativity proved to be the main thing I needed to create a peaceful and relaxing space in my home. Hand pouring soy candles proved to be relaxing. Then Four years ago, I paused. I slowed down. I rediscovered what mattered. I found my rhythm.

Funk Soul Baby found its new purpose. It's a realignment. As a wellness boutique created to help you slow down, practice self-care, and create intentional moments in everyday life. Because wellness isn't always about doing more. Sometimes it's about creating space. Space to breathe. Space to rest. Space to reflect. Space to simply be.
